Why dive here
With 116+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - Torvore offers some of Algarve & Berlengas's richest diving. Water ranges 15-19°C, warmest June, October, November.
Torvore offers a relaxed dive along the Algarve coast, accessible by boat. It's a gentle slope, mostly sand with scattered rocky outcrops, home to cuttlefish, octopus, and the occasional stingray. We've found it’s a good spot for newer divers wanting an easy introduction to the area’s marine life. Visibility here is decent on calm days, typically around 10-15 meters.
