Baixa do Ouro, off the Azores, is a good spot for newer divers looking for an easy introduction to the local underwater scene. Dropping to a manageable 20 meters, the site offers calm conditions most of the time. You'll likely see a decent range of the usual Atlantic suspects here – various wrasse, maybe some damselfish. It’s a comfortable dive, perfect for getting back in the water or building confidence.
