Dollabarat - Azores
Quita Sueño Bank offers a different pace from some of Malpelo’s more exposed sites. It’s a proper reef, a place where you can slow down and really appreciate the smaller things. We’ve seen healthy patches of brain coral here, alongside finger coral and the occasional rose coral, all providing shelter for those smaller reef inhabitants. Keep an eye out for fire coral too, it’s surprisingly common. If you’re looking for a relaxed dive with plenty of reef texture, this is a solid choice.
