DORY - Azores
The DORY wreck, resting at a comfortable 10 meters, offers a relaxed dive in the Azores. We found it’s a great spot for a second dive or if you’re looking for something less demanding. The wreck itself, a fishing vessel, is fairly broken up, but you can still make out the hull and some of the superstructure. It’s not a huge penetration dive, but we love poking around the nooks and crannies where the local residents hang out. Look for schools of juvenile fish darting through the rusted metal and the occasional octopus tucked away in a crevice. It’s an easy, enjoyable dive, perfect for photographers or anyone who just wants to spend some quality time with a piece of history.
