STARLIGHT - Azores
Starlight isn't your typical deep Azorean dive; it’s a shallow wreck, barely breaking the surface. We're talking a maximum depth of two metres, making it perfect for snorkelers or new divers getting comfortable with finning around something other than reef. What you get is the exposed structure of a fishing boat, half-submerged, with plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into. Light filters through the skeletal remains, illuminating the colourful algae and small fish that have claimed it as home. It’s a gentle, relaxed exploration, a good warm-up or cool-down dive, and a nice change from the usual volcanic rock formations.
