Why dive here
With 44+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and sea turtles - Cala Pedrosa offers some of Costa Brava's richest diving. Water ranges 13-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Cala Pedrosa offers a straightforward shore dive, usually calm and protected from strong currents. We often find octopus tucked into crevices and small moray eels peering out from rocky overhangs. It’s a good spot for newer divers looking to get comfortable with Mediterranean conditions, or for a relaxed second dive. The entry is simple enough, making it accessible for a quick dip.
