Isla de Messina offers some interesting reef topography in the Costa Brava. We found the swim-throughs and small caves around the island particularly engaging, with plenty of nooks to check for octopus or moray eels. It’s a site that suits divers looking for exploration rather than large pelagics, perfect for a relaxed afternoon dive.
