HMS Bedouin - Tabarka

Rogers Reef always feels like slipping into a kelp forest cathedral. We love how the light filters through the canopy, painting stripes across the rocky ledges below. It’s not about big pelagics here; it's about the intricate small stuff hiding among the anemones and sponges. Look closely for the Slender Blade Shrimp, a delicate creature we often miss if we’re not paying attention. We’ve also had incredible luck spotting Spotted Ratfish tucked into crevices – their long, whip-like tails are a dead giveaway. The currents can pick up, so it's a site best enjoyed on a slack tide, giving you time to really explore the nooks. You'll often find Common Seals zipping past, curious but keeping their distance. The eelgrass beds near the shallower parts are a fantastic place to spot Dungeness Crabs scuttling along the bottom or even a Big Skate gliding by. This is a dive for those who appreciate the subtle beauty of temperate waters, a slower pace, and a keen eye for macro life.
