MOON LIGHT (PROBABLY) - Tabarka

Moon Light (Probably) sits in surprisingly shallow water, making it a cracking wreck for a relaxed dive. We’re talking 8 meters, maximum, which means long bottom times and plenty of light filtering down. The wreck itself is a substantial motor vessel, 79.9 meters of hull now thoroughly colonised. You’ll find schools of small fish zipping through open companionways and moray eels peeking from beneath twisted metal plating. It’s perfect for those newer to wreck diving or for anyone who just wants to potter about without the usual depth constraints. Our favourite part is the way the light plays on the deck. On a sunny day, it really does glow, giving the site its name, or at least our adopted name for it. We love navigating around the superstructure, imagining the ship in its heyday. Look closely at the hull plating, too; we’ve often spotted nudibranchs there, tiny explosions of colour against the rust. The current isn’t usually much of an issue, so you can take your time exploring every nook and cranny. Definitely a standout for a chill dive in Tabarka.
