OMARA - Tabarka
The Omara wreck, a steamship sunk by a German U-boat in 1918, rests at 30 meters off Tabarka. It’s a solid dive for those who enjoy history and a bit of a challenge. We’ve found the stern section to be particularly intact, with the prop shaft still visible, offering good opportunities for exploration around the collapsing holds. You'll often find schools of barracuda circling the superstructure and small moray eels peering from crevices, making it feel quite alive despite its age. It's a great pick for divers comfortable with deeper wreck penetration and who appreciate the quiet history beneath the waves.
