ERRIA - Scottish West Coast

The Erria, a motor vessel that stranded in a gale in 1981, sits incredibly shallow, with parts of its superstructure often breaking the surface. It’s a site for the curious, where you can explore the exposed decks and structure in less than a meter of water. Look for shore crabs scuttling amongst the growth and small wrasse darting between the rusty plates. It's a quick, easy dive or snorkel, especially good for a surface interval or when the weather has other plans for deeper sites.
