NELLIE - Scottish West Coast

The *Nellie*, a small coaster, is one of those sites we always enjoy revisiting. It’s barely a few strokes from the shore, sitting upright and complete in just two metres of water. We particularly love it on a calm, sunny day, when the light penetrates right down to the deck, illuminating the wheelhouse and cargo hold. You can spend a good hour just finning gently around the superstructure, spotting the plumose anemones that cling to every surface and the blennies darting in and out of the nooks. It's fantastic for photographers or those just getting comfortable with drysuit diving; the ease of access and shallow depth means you can really take your time.
