Wreck of Janne Allerton - Scottish West Coast

Diving the Janne Allerton is like stepping onto a ghost ship, a real journey into history. This isn't one of those over-dived wrecks stripped bare; she’s still got that eerie, intact feel, sitting upright and proud on the seabed. We love poking around her holds, imagining her last cargo, and seeing how the local critters have made themselves at home. Look out for the resident wrasse darting between the deck timbers and the occasional inquisitive conger eel peeking from a dark crevice. We’d suggest timing your dive for slack water to really take your time exploring the bridge and stern, letting your torch beam pick out the details that tell her story. It’s a compelling dive for anyone who loves a bit of maritime history mixed with a proper atmospheric wreck exploration.
