PM-27 - Newfoundland
Dropping down to 25 metres at PM-27, the initial chill from the Newfoundland water quickly fades when you start spotting the local residents. We’ve found Atlantic snails moving slowly over the rocks, and those tiny Daubed Shannies peering out from cracks. Look closer and you might see Arctic Argids flitting about, or even the subtle colours of a witch flounder pressed against the bottom. While we haven't encountered any Northern Right Whales here ourselves, the site consistently delivers on the smaller, more unusual species, making it a good choice for divers who appreciate the subtle beauty of colder waters and aren't chasing big pelagics.
