With 77+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and jellyfish lake - Sandy Cove offers some of Nova Scotia's richest muck diving. Water ranges 1-17°C, warmest August, September, October.
Sandy Cove in Nova Scotia offers a different kind of dive. Expect a muck environment, plenty of sand and mud, which means you’ll want to slow down and really look. We've often found interesting macro life here, small critters hiding in the sediment. It's a spot that suits patient divers keen on spotting the less obvious.
