Corsdu Reef - Québec

Forget the tropics for a moment, Récif du Serpent offers a different kind of immersion. Here in Québec, the currents often bring in some surprising visitors – we’ve spotted great shearwaters diving for food and even the occasional common minke whale passing through. Down on the reef, you’ll find Atlantic cod lurking among the kelp, with common whelks slowly making their way across the rocks. It’s a cooler, more rugged dive, appealing to those who appreciate the unique biodiversity of temperate waters and aren’t afraid of a little chill. We’d say it’s best for divers with a bit of experience, given the potential for stronger currents.
