The team at Aqua Service are the heart of diving in Québec, plain and simple. We love their genuine passion for getting people in the water, whether it's for local lake dives or further afield. This is a centre for anyone serious about learning to dive, or looking to connect with a thriving dive community. If you’re based in the region, or passing through and want to sample some surprisingly good cold-water diving, these are your people. Their local trips are our favourite – they really open up what’s available on your doorstep. Think clear, freshwater quarries and lakes, often with fascinating submerged history like old mining equipment or even plane wrecks. We’ve found the visibility can be excellent, particularly in the cooler months, though you’ll need good drysuit skills and thick gloves. Ask them about their H2O dive club; it’s a fantastic way to meet fellow divers and they often have informal meet-ups or shared transport to nearby sites. They’re super practical too, with equipment rentals that always seem well-maintained. We'd suggest chatting with them about site conditions before heading out independently; they’ll give you the honest lowdown on currents or best entry points.
