Quarry Island Bank
Why dive here
Quarry Island Bank lies in a species-rich stretch of Québec, with 44+ marine species recorded in the area.
Quarry Island Bank is a freshwater dive that often surprises divers expecting a typical lake bottom. You’ll find a mix of freshwater species here – think pumpkinseed, various sticklebacks, and even the occasional pike or carp cruising the deeper sections. It’s a good spot for divers keen on exploring a different kind of underwater environment and observing fish behaviour in a cooler climate. Visibility can vary, so we suggest checking local reports before heading out.
