Rothesay (Shipwreck) - Québec

The Rothesay wreck in Québec is a freshwater dive with a different kind of charm. Dropping onto her deck, you’ll find a surprisingly intact hull that stretches out, home now to schools of Spottail Shiners that dart through the openings. It’s a proper historical piece, the kind of wreck where you can imagine the old paddle steamer in her prime. We’ve seen Alewife ghosting around the timbers, and if you’re patient, a chunky Lake Sturgeon might cruise by. It's a solid day out for anyone who enjoys a bit of history with their diving, and it’s a good spot to practice your wreck skills without the added challenge of ocean currents.
