The Caves
Why dive here
The Caves lies in a species-rich stretch of Québec, with 44+ marine species recorded in the area.
Head north to Québec and you’ll find The Caves, a freshwater dive that’s exactly what it sounds like. We’ve had some interesting times here, navigating the twists and turns. You’ll be looking for things like rainbow smelt and yellow perch, maybe a chinook or coho salmon if you’re lucky. It's a cool spot for divers looking to try something a bit different, a proper cave system without the saltwater. Just make sure your buoyancy is dialled in, the silting can get real in some of those tighter spots.
Safety Notes
Overhead environment - never enter without proper cave/cavern training, redundant equipment, and a guideline.
