The Niagara II - Québec

The Niagara II is a cool one, a purposely sunk freighter that’s become a legitimate artificial reef in the Great Lakes. We found her settled nicely on the bottom, with plenty of entry points for exploration – the engine room is always a favourite for us, as are the cargo holds. Over the years, she’s really started to attract her own ecosystem; you’ll see plenty of pike darting through the superstructure and crayfish scuttling over the decks. It's a great spot for wreck enthusiasts who appreciate a good penetration dive, or anyone keen to see how nature reclaims something man-made.
