Barracuda Point - Cozumel
Barracuda Point, up at Cozumel’s northern tip, is where we head when we want some serious drift diving. The current here can be ripping, perfect for flying past large pelagics like schooling eagle rays or, of course, the occasional barracuda patrol. It’s a site best suited for experienced divers comfortable with a fast pace and deep waters, as the reef wall drops down quite a way. We usually see some impressive gorgonian corals clinging on for dear life, too.
