Gatas - Cozumel
Gatas is a good choice for newer divers looking for a relaxed Cozumel experience. The reef here typically has milder currents than some of the famous drift dives, making it easy to cruise along and enjoy the sponges and sea fans. Look for nurse sharks tucked under ledges and plenty of schooling grunts. It’s not the most dramatic reef on the island, but it’s a solid, enjoyable dive for building confidence.
