    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Las Esponjas in Cozumel is a gentle drift dive. We often spot nurse sharks tucked under ledges and plenty of green morays peering from the sponges, which really do live up to the site's name. It’s a shallower site, good for less experienced divers or those looking for a relaxed second dive. The current here is usually mild, making for an easy, pleasant float.

    Safety Notes

Strong currents typical this month (avg 79 cm/s). Good buoyancy control essential.
