With 177+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, bull sharks, dolphins, eagle rays and nurse sharks - Santa Rosa Reef offers some of Cozumel's richest reef diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Drifting along Santa Rosa Reef, you'll find a wall dive dropping steeply into the blue. We typically encounter green sea turtles munching on sponges, alongside schools of horse-eye jacks circling overhead. It's a Cozumel classic, best for divers comfortable with drift diving and keeping an eye on their depth. The currents here can be brisk, adding to the exhilaration.
