With 195+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue whales, dolphins, humpback whales, nurse sharks and orcas - Los Islotes offers some of Sea of Cortez's richest diving. Water ranges 21-31°C, warmest August, September, October.
Los Islotes is all about the sea lions. You'll find dozens of them here, sunning themselves on the rocks and zipping past you in the water. We've often had playful pups nibble on our fins. It’s a shallower dive, usually around 10-15 meters, making it great for newer divers or those who just want some quality time with the pinnipeds.
