Muertitos offers a straightforward dive in the Sea of Cortez. We’ve found a mixed terrain here, with scattered rock formations and sandy patches, attracting a variety of smaller reef fish and some shy rays. It’s a good spot for a relaxed second dive, or for those newer to the area wanting to get their bearings. Expect pleasant conditions, usually with decent visibility.
