With 195+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue whales, dolphins, humpback whales, nurse sharks and orcas - Rofomex offers some of Sea of Cortez's richest diving. Water ranges 21-31°C, warmest August, September, October.
Rofomex, in the Sea of Cortez, offers a look at the desert meeting the sea. The site features a series of rocky fingers dropping away, creating ledges and small overhangs. We often spot moray eels tucked into crevices and schools of snapper moving through the open water. It’s a good spot for a relaxed second dive, suitable for most experience levels.
