Cenote Azul - Yucatán Cenotes

Cenote Azul is a shallow, open-air cenote, mostly around 5-10 meters deep. It’s a gentle spot, perfect for newer divers or those looking for an easy, relaxing dip rather than a deep penetration cave dive. You'll find yourself drifting amongst schools of small fish and the occasional freshwater turtle, with plenty of light filtering through the overhead trees. It’s a great option if you want to experience the cenote environment without venturing into the darker, tighter passages.
