Cowley Rock - Alaska

Buceo Costa Nerja in Al Hoceima offers a pleasant dive, particularly for those keen on the smaller residents of the Mediterranean. We've often found loggerhead turtles cruising by, a real highlight, and the variable loggerhead sponges here are impressive in their size. Look closely for African striped grunt darting through the eelgrass and sturdy needleweed, while dusky groupers often lurk in the crevices. It’s a solid spot for an easy-going dive, generally calm and suitable for all experience levels, allowing plenty of time to observe the ornate wrasse and cowfish moving through the rocks.
