La Perouse Reef - Alaska

Aviator, off Sulawesi, offers a really pleasant drift dive. We often find ourselves just floating along, feeling a bit like a glider pilot as the currents carry us over the pinnacle and along the wall. You'll see plenty of the usual suspects here, pufferfish often hover in the current, and we've spotted blacktip reef sharks cruising the deeper sections. The yellowtail fusiliers form dense schools, and the big fan corals are always worth a close look. It’s a site that rewards a relaxed pace, perfect for those who enjoy covering some ground without too much effort.
