Pidwell Reef, off the Alaskan coast, offers a glimpse into cold-water reef systems. Expect robust hard corals and gorgonians, with plenty of rockfish peering from crevices. Visibility can be hit or miss, typical for the region, but when it clears, the colours are surprisingly rich. This spot is best for experienced drysuit divers keen on exploring unique North American Pacific marine life.
