Wimble Rocks in Alaska is a solid choice when you’re looking for a relaxed dive with plenty of chances for close-up viewing. The rocky reef provides a home for some really interesting characters, like the spotted ratfish, which we always get a kick out of seeing glide by. Keep an eye out for the prickly sculpin tucked into crevices, and you’ll often spot massive sunflower stars making their way across the rock. It’s a great site for photographers who enjoy macro opportunities or anyone who likes taking their time to observe the smaller details.
Safety Notes
