Why dive here
Frog Rock is a reef dive in California, United States. Water ranges 14-21°C, warmest July, August, September.
Frog Rock, just off the California coast, is a reliable shore dive when conditions are calm. We’ve found it’s a good spot for newer divers, with depths staying fairly shallow around the rocky outcrops. You’ll typically see plenty of rockfish, anemones, and maybe a nudibranch or two tucked into the crevices. It’s a solid local dive, especially on a sunny morning.
