La Jolla Shores - California
La Jolla Shores is a classic San Diego shore dive, perfect for easy entry and longer bottom times. We usually find leopard sharks congregating in the summer, especially in the shallower sandy areas. It's a great spot for beginners to practice navigation and for photographers looking for macro subjects amongst the eelgrass and occasional bat rays. Watch out for strong surge on bigger swell days.
