Crocker Reef - Florida Keys

We love Skoll tal-Abjad tal-Prosha, even if it feels like a bit of a mouthful to say. This site off Comino offers a proper Mediterranean reef dive, a nice change from some of the more cave-focused stuff nearby. Drop in, and you're immediately into the typical rocky Comino landscape, but here it’s softened by these amazing scarlet corals. They really pop against the darker rock. Keep an eye out for the Glycerine worms, those shimmering ribbons, tucked away in crevices – they’re easy to miss if you’re not actively looking. Our favourite part is the chance to spot loggerhead turtles cruising by. They don't always hang around, but when they do, it's a real treat. We’ve also had some cracking encounters with dusky groupers here, sometimes just hanging motionless, watching you with those big, calm eyes. Visibility is usually solid, making it a relaxed dive where you can really take your time exploring the nooks and crannies. It’s perfect for divers who appreciate a slow, observational dive over something with lots of dramatic swim-throughs.
