Why dive here
With 87+ marine species recorded in the area - including bull sharks, dolphins, hammerhead sharks, seahorses and sea turtles - Deliverance offers some of Florida Keys's richest diving. Water ranges 19-32°C, warmest July, August, September.
Deliverance sits in the Florida Keys, and while it doesn’t always make the highlight reels, it’s a solid enough dive when you’re in the area. We’ve found it to be a pretty reliable spot for spotting some of the more unusual bottom dwellers like the Elongate Fangjaw or a Lancer Stargazer tucked into the sand. Keep an eye out for loggerhead turtles cruising by, especially on a calm morning. It’s a good easy dive for shaking off the rust or enjoying a quiet afternoon underwater without a crowd.
