Pompano Beach is a solid option for newer divers getting their fins wet in the Keys. Dropping to a max depth of 17 metres, it’s a comfortable, easy dive. You’ll find plenty of smaller reef fish darting amongst the coral patches here; we’ve seen everything from angelfish to sergeant majors on a single dive. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but for a chilled-out afternoon exploring the reef, it’s a perfectly pleasant spot.
