    StandoutRich in charismatic marine life

Sombrero Beach is more of a shore entry for casual exploration than a dedicated dive site, really. We’ve found scattered patch reefs out from the beach, holding small schools of grunt and snapper. Visibility can drop after rain, but on a good day, it's a decent spot for snorkelers or new divers getting comfortable in shallow water. You won't find anything dramatic here, but it's a pleasant way to spend an afternoon if you're in the area.
