Soule Barge-Gulf Power Towers - Florida Keys
The Soule Barge and Gulf Power Towers site in the Florida Keys offers a solid wreck dive, often with a bonus. We’ve seen it referred to as a "pinnacle" in some places, but really, it's more about the scattered remains of a barge and the two old power towers that create a decent amount of structure. Expect to find a good number of reef fish, like various drum and porgy, along with some interesting finds like orange filefish tucked into crevices. Keep an eye out for common octopus, especially in the late afternoon. It’s a good spot for a relaxed second dive, suitable for open water divers comfortable with a bit of current.
