Spiegel Grove - Florida Keys

Dropping onto the Spiegel Grove is a proper immersion into an artificial reef, not just a wreck dive. This massive vessel, intentionally sunk, offers plenty of penetration points for those with the right training, but even staying outside keeps you busy. You’ll weave through the superstructure, spotting Goliath grouper lurking in shadowed compartments and schools of snapper swirling off the decks. We particularly like exploring the stern, where the prop is encrusted and often surrounded by barracuda. It’s a site that rewards multiple dives, revealing more of its character each time you visit.
