Sally Ward Spring is a compelling dive for those interested in Florida's unique aquifer system. The spring vent itself is a narrow fissure, often producing a strong flow that can be a workout against the current. It's a tighter dive, best suited for experienced cavern or cave divers comfortable with overhead environments and good buoyancy. Expect to see the characteristic limestone formations and perhaps a curious freshwater turtle or two.
