Kapalua Beach - Hawaii

Meridian Drop, it’s a site we always try to hit when we're on the West Side. The wall itself drops down, but the real show is closer to the top, especially that sandy patch. We love drifting along it, keeping an eye out for eagle rays sifting through the sand, sometimes a pair of them gliding past, totally unbothered. The mini wall section is where the colour really pops – those bright orange elephant ear sponges are impossible to miss. And we've seen schools of oceanic triggerfish here, so thick they almost form a moving current. We’re talking hundreds, just swirling around you. It’s an incredible feeling, being right in the middle of that. Keep your eyes peeled for the smaller stuff too; the reef is home to Puffcheek Blennies and Dwarf Gobies if you slow down and look closely. This spot is perfect for divers who appreciate both wide-angle spectacle and intimate macro finds.
