Oregon Inlet Reef AR-160 - Buoy - North Carolina
AR-160 is an artificial reef made up of military hardware and rubble, sitting around 20 metres deep off Oregon Inlet. It's a solid choice when the offshore wrecks are unreachable, providing a good habitat for snapper, grouper, and schools of baitfish. Currents can pick up, so it's best for experienced divers comfortable in variable conditions. This spot offers a reliable, accessible dive for local wildlife spotting.
