Santore Wreck - North Carolina
Dropping onto the Santore, you’re met with a classic North Carolina wreck – broken up, but still substantial enough to give you plenty to explore. The ship’s ribs reach up from the sand in places, creating alleys where you’ll often find amberjack cruising by. We’ve seen big schools of baitfish swirling around the more intact sections, which always brings in the bigger predators. It’s a solid dive for those who appreciate history and don't mind a bit of a current. We’d suggest keeping an eye on the local conditions for the best visibility.
