USNS Garrison - North Carolina

The USNS *Garrison* isn't just another lump of metal on the seabed. This is a proper wreck, sitting upright and largely intact, inviting you to explore its shadowy hold spaces and bridge. We love dropping down and seeing the sheer scale of it, the way the sunlight slices through openings, illuminating schools of baitfish that shimmer like scattered glitter. You'll find sand tiger sharks often patrolling the deeper parts, their toothy grins a thrilling sight, and the structure itself is draped in colourful soft corals. Our favourite part has to be navigating the cargo holds, imagining its past life before it became a vibrant artificial reef. It's an ideal dive for those comfortable with wreck penetration, offering a real sense of adventure and discovery.
