    CharacterReef dive

Blind Reef, up in the Pacific Northwest, offers a classic cold-water dive that feels distinctly Canadian. We've often found ourselves navigating kelp forests that sway with the gentle surge, keeping an eye out for the resident giant octopus – they're usually tucked away, but patient searching pays off. You'll see plenty of sunflower stars sprawled across the rocks and those charismatic spotted ratfish gliding past. It's a solid choice for divers who appreciate the subtler beauty of a temperate reef and aren't afraid of a bit of a chill.

    Safety Notes

Cold water this month (avg 11°C). Drysuit or thick wetsuit (7mm+) recommended.
