Enterprise Reef - Pacific Northwest

Enterprise Reef isn't your typical coral explosion, but we love it for its moody Pacific Northwest charm. It’s got a rough-hewn beauty that really grows on you. Think dense kelp forests, swaying with the surge, and the constant dance of light filtering through the canopy. You’ll find plenty of nudibranchs here, often tucked into the nooks and crannies, and those curious sculpins always seem to be watching you. The rock walls are draped in anemones and sponges, providing shelter for everything from Slender Crabs to the surprisingly elegant Snake Pricklebacks. Keep an eye out for the Blue Seaperch darting through the green. We’ve had some fantastic encounters with juvenile Chinook salmon here, shimmering silver in the dim light. Visibility can be a bit variable, so we always check conditions before heading out, but on a good day, it's an immersive, green-tinted experience. Best explored slowly, letting your eyes adjust to the subtle colours. This is a site for divers who appreciate the cooler waters and rich, temperate marine life. You’ll experience the unique ecosystem of the Pacific Northwest, watching colourful invertebrates and various fish species move through the kelp. It’s a rewarding dive for anyone keen on macro photography or just soaking in a different kind of underwater landscape.
