Fort Flagler Pier in the Pacific Northwest offers a relaxed shore dive, perfect for newer divers getting comfortable with cold water. We often find giant pacific octopuses tucked into the pilings and plenty of nudibranchs on the encrusting growth. Visibility can be a bit variable, especially after rain, but on a good day, it’s a surprisingly productive poke around for macro life. It’s a solid choice for a casual Sunday morning.
