Octopus Hole, a shore dive in the Pacific Northwest, lives up to its name. We often find giant Pacific octopus tucked into the rocky crevices, especially on night dives. It’s a relatively shallow site, good for less experienced cold-water divers looking for a reliable octopus encounter. Just watch the tides; strong currents can make the entry tricky.

    Safety Notes

Cold water this month (avg 11°C). Drysuit or thick wetsuit (7mm+) recommended.
